Pneuma in Kenya 2022

We went to Nairobi, Kenya this summer to learn from Charles Kinyanjui—a man that we didn’t know but we were very excited to meet. It sounds crazy, and maybe it is. We trust God to lead us and we haven’t been disappointed yet.

We found Charles because we were looking for a leader who had been successfully making disciples (followers) of Jesus. We wanted to learn from the kind of discipleship movement that we have heard of, but had not seen in person. Charles has multiplied, lives have been changed, and their joy was so great. The movement has grown well beyond control of Charles, and that's the kingdom of God according to Jesus.

Thank you to World Partners for pouring into Charles for so long. Specifically, thanks to Joe Johns and Leslie Foster from World Partners for making this trip happen and facilitating! Thank you especially to Charles, Angelica, Dominic, and Agnes for hosting us, teaching us, and sharing the joy of following Jesus with us.

We have a dream that 20 years from now that God has created a movement of Jesus followers in the United States, in Mexico, and Brazil like what we saw in Kenya. If you would like to join us, then please reach out and let’s talk about how we can help each other.
